What Is CCA / UL Mark?
Capital Cost Allowance (CCA) is the means by which Canadian businesses may claim depreciation expense for calculating taxable income under the Income Tax Act (Canada). Similar allowances are in effect for calculating taxable income for provincial purposes.

If you manufacture electrical components or equipment, you will eventually have to submit them to UL or CSA. Be prepared: these organizations are testing and certification companies and will not provide design assistance. What does this mean for you?
